Scottish football class who tragically died of cardiac arrest during a game for Motherwell in 2007. He was a two-time Scottish PFA Young Player of the Year award winner, receiving the award in 1992. and 1994.
Following his death, the Fir Park Main Stand was renamed The Phil O'Donnell Stand. A stainless steel monument was also erected in his honor in November 2011.
