MC Mong real name is Shin Dong-hyun he is known as a Korean hip-hop singer and is considered one of the most successful singers in Korea in hip-hop genre. Before that, he was known as an actor who starred in the comedy series Nonstop and was a regular face on the TV game show 2 Days & 1 Night for a long time.
He is also a one of the few South Koreans involved in the Scandal of evading South Korea's mandatory military service and as a result he was imprisoned for 6 months along with being broadcast by Korean TV station and General Congregation. Broadcasting company Munhwa banned him from appearing on their programs.
