Literator Pham Van Ky?
Writer Pham Van Ky, who is fluent in two languages, writes in both Vietnamese and French. He composed many works in both Vietnamese and French languages. However, he is better known for his novels in French.
In 1936, he was awarded the "Premier prix de Poésie aux Jeux Floraux d'Indochine" prize for a collection of poems written in French. He also won the Grand Prize for Fiction from the French Academy in 1961. He was the first person to write an introduction to the poet's collection of poems "Country Girl" Han Mac Tu.
From 1938, he moved to France, got married and lived in Maisons-Alfort, a suburb of Paris until April 27, 1992, when he died at Henri-Mondor hospital in Créteil, France.

He worked as an editor for several French-language newspapers in Binh Dinh, Hue, Saigon, then went to France to study in Sorbonne, but did not graduate.
