Writer Thy Ngoc's real name is Nguyen Ngoc, a native of Cua Ong, Quang Ninh. Other pseudonyms: Be Nguyen, Em Lua Vang, Thi Thi Tong Ngoc.
He is one of eight founding members of Kim Dong Publishing House, working as an editor at Kim Dong Publishing House since its inception (March 1957). until retirement (1987). He is a member of the Vietnam Writers' Association.
He participated in writing and journalism quite early, from the time of the Viet Minh front in Hai Phong (Democracy newspaper). The first published work was the children's story book Breaking the dyke (1943, published by Cong Cong Publishing House in Hanoi).
Writer Thy Ngoc has had 70 years of professional experience. compositions for children. In addition to writing and poetry, he also made covers and illustrations for nearly 300 books. Dong. His works are loved by young readers. The work "Class of the white dove" is currently being adapted by Vietnam Television into 8 episodes of cartoons.
Writer Thy Ngoc passed away on December 23, 2012 in Hanoi.
