English children's author best known for writing the award-winning photo series The Last Dragon Chronicles. He is the author of more than twenty novels, including Gruffen, which won the 2010 Factor Book Award.
His first piece of serious writing was a 250,000 word story about polar bears which he wrote as a gift for wife. The story later evolved into his first published book, A Hole at the North Pole.
