Best known for his best-selling horror film The Hot Zone, as well as his 2002 work The Demon in Freezer, this novel and non-fiction author has also worked as a journalist for the New York Times. Yorker
He published his first non-fiction work, First Light. : the quest for the edge of the universe, late 1980. His first novel, The Cobra Event, followed a decade later.
