The first painting exhibition of artist Tran Luu Hau was held at Ben Thanh Art & Frame gallery. This exhibition includes 40 paintings by Tran Luu Hau. On May 11, 2015, an exhibition of 25 paintings by artist Tran Luu Hau opened at the Thousand Pho Gallery (Hanoi). In the gallery, Tran Luu Hau introduced 7 nude paintings to the public for the first time. At the age of nearly 90, artist Tran Luu Hau paints nude paintings with the use of bright colors, which makes his paintings more novel and interesting.

In 1945, he participated in revolutionary activities, worked at the Information and Propaganda Department of Vinh Yen province until 1950. Painter Tran Luu Hau graduated from the Resistance School of Fine Arts in 1953. In 1960 he graduated from the American Academy Moscow art. From 1962-1988, he worked as a lecturer at Vietnam University of Fine Arts. From 1983-1989, he was a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Graphic Council of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, term II. From 1989-1994, he was a member of the Secretariat, Chairman of the 3rd Central Association of Arts Council.
