Artist Thuong Tin's full name is Bui Thuong Tin. Born in 1956 in Ninh Thuan. He is a famous television actor with nearly 200 films, large and small, on the small screen and is known and loved by a large audience. Before coming to the acting profession, Thuong Tin was known as a reformed artist, but in this field he was not noticed until appearing in many roles on the small screen and his name became more known. Thuong Tin once set a record for the number of plastic films he acted in in one year.

From an early age, Thuong Tin had a passion for art, especially Cai Luong art. At the age of 13, because he was passionate about Cai Luong, he left home to join a Cai Luong troupe. and followed the tour group everywhere. Seeing his love for art and determination, his family sent him to the National School of Music and Drama in Saigon to satisfy his passion for art. After graduating, Thuong Tin joined the Kim Cuong troupe. Here he played many roles with female artist Kim Cuong thanks to which his name gained more attention. After success with theater roles, he began to try his hand at movie roles. With talent and passion for art, trying his best for art, Thuong Tin quickly won the audience's love through films such as: Upside Down, White Sea Duong, Saigon Commandos, Battlefield Divided in Half the Moon,... and many other feature films. Life seemed to go smoothly and smoothly, but in 2007, he was caught up in a gambling operation at his family's shop. His life became more difficult when at the age of 58, Thuong Tin suddenly married a wife 32 years younger than him and had young children. Life was difficult, he had to leave his wife and children in his hometown and go to the city. HCM rents a room to continue performing. But due to the epidemic, his income from acting was uneven, so he had to participate in a number of short film projects on Youtube to make a living. Knowing that his situation was difficult, some acquaintances offered to help but he refused.
On February 25, 2021, artist Thuong Tin suffered a stroke and was promptly taken to the emergency room by a friend. Immediately after actor Thuong Tin's information was posted online, many benefactors came and helped him overcome difficulties. Currently, Thuong Tin is healthy again and returned to his hometown in Phan Rang-Ninh Thuan to recuperate.
Artist Thuong Tin breathed his last breath at noon on December 8, 2025, at the age of 70.
Thuong Tin was born into a family of 9 siblings. Thuong Tin was originally a peach artist, he had many love affairs with many female artists, but finally married singer My Dung has a son. After marrying his wife, he went to California, USA with his wife, but because of the love of his homeland, he returned home with his son to continue his career.
After experiencing many failed marriages, finally in Vietnam. At the age of 58, he married a woman 32 years younger than him and had a daughter.
