American poet best known for an epic work entitled The Battlefield Where The Moon Has I Loved You. His other notable poems include "Liberty, Rebellion, And Love" and "The Snake Doctor." He committed suicide shortly before his thirtieth birthday. His last work, Cradle of Death, was published posthumously.
