Who is Poet Nicanor Parra?
Chilean poet, physicist, and mathematician best known for his influential work Poemas y Antipoemas. A recipient of the prestigious Cervantes Prize, he has also been nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature several times.
A self-described "anti-poet", he ignored the conventions of Latin American poetry and included communicative linguistic elements in his literary works.
