In June 2013, he transferred to worked at the Press Information Department and held the position of Deputy Spokesperson, then Deputy Director of the Press Information Department, Deputy Director of Foreign Policy Department, then Secretary of Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh.
In November 2013, he successfully defended his doctoral thesis. majoring in International Relations at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. After that, he was appointed as the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs until now.
