She began performing with her siblings in R5 in 2009 and opened the LOUD tour in March 2013. In February 2018, she launched her own online boutique RYDEL.
Rydel took keyboard and tambourine lessons and was also a dancer.
Her parents, Stormie and Mark Lynch, raised her with her four brothers: Ross, Riker, Rocky, and Ryland. In 2013, she began dating bandmate Ellington, proposed to him in December 2017, but they ultimately split up in 2018. Later, she started dating Capron Funk in 2019, and they got engaged in 2020. On September 12, 2020, Rydel and Capron got married, and in April 2021, they welcomed their first child, a boy named Super. The family shares their lives on the YouTube channel The Funks. The couple announced they were expecting a baby girl, who was born in August 2022.
