Who is Reformed artist Minh Vuong?
Minh Vuong, whose real name is Nguyen Van Vung, is a famous Cai Luong artist who is admired by many audiences. After many years of dedication to the country's reformed art, in 2007 artist Minh Vuong was awarded the title of Distinguished Artist by the State of Vietnam.
At the age of 14, Minh Vuong started working as an actor, standing on stage in many supporting roles and small roles. At the age of 18, artist Minh Vuong could only play the main role.
In 1972, Minh Vuong and his wife, Do Thi Hong, established the Vietnamese reformed group. The troupe toured in many provinces in the country until April 30, 1975, when it stopped working.
In 2012, artist Minh Vuong was bedridden after many years of fighting with many evil diseases. His health was too poor, but fortunately, he was given an organ by a young man for a transplant. After the successful organ transplant surgery, artist Minh Vuong's health has gradually stabilized, but he still has to go to the hospital for regular check-ups.
