An American religious leader who was president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1847 until his death in 1877. He also especially helped found the organization that now now known as the University of Utah and Brigham Young University.
He not only founded the city of Salt Lake Utah, but was also responsible for the famous Mormon temple.
