Rapper, songwriter, actress, model, she is the founder of her independent label Age 101. After releasing four mixtapes and five EPs, she released her first album A Tale Curious The Experiment + Person in September 2015. She was part of the 2015 G-Star Raw print campaign.
She struggled with being a female hip hop artist because she always felt like she wasn't taken seriously. After she continued to be rejected by brands on the basis of being female, she decided to make her own label. She frequently refers to herself as a king rather than a queen, because of the inequality she experienced.

In 2009, she starred as Vicky in BBC's God Warriors and in 2012 she took on Meleka in E4's Youngers. Her music career began to take off when she competed under her alias bar Simzson but she started playing semi-shows when she began performing under the name Little Simz.
She was born Simbi Ajikawo in Islington, England, but later moved to London.
