Mino started out in the underground world. He is acting as a rapper, singing activities with Woo Jiho (Zico BLOCK B), Pyo Jihoon (P. O BLOCK B), Sim Jongsu (SIMS MIB), Scotch VIP, Woo Jiseok (Taewoon SPEED), and Roydo. He has written and produced many of his own raps, and several other mixtapes.
After that, Song Mino had a time as a trainee at Brand New Stardom, along with Park Kyung, Hanhae and Zico. After that, he became a trainee under Y2Y Contents Company Entertainment, as a main rapper for the group B. O.M and took the nickname Tagoon. In March 2012, he joined the cast, playing the role of Park Kibum in the K-POP movie The Ultimate Survival. In early 2013, B. O.M announced their disbandment. At this time, Mino is said to be doing very well artistically at another company, and he is about to release his own album.
