Bài hát “Chuyện thằng bé" kể về cậu bé có đam mê mạnh mẽ với âm nhạc từ khi còn bé xíu. Ước mơ đó ngày càng lớn dần theo thời gian do được nuôi dưỡng từ tình yêu thương của gia đình. Ngay khi được nghe demo ca khúc, tân binh đã nhận được sự phản hồi tích cực từ gia đình, người thân và bạn bè xung quanh. Đặc biệt, bố của Việt Phương rất xúc động và thích cách kể chuyện bằng âm nhạc của con mình. Và cũng như anh chàng trong bài hát, Võ Việt Phương đã nhận được sự ủng hộ rất lớn từ gia đình của mình. Tuy nhiên, anh bắt đầu tiếp xúc với âm nhạc khá sớm khi chỉ mới 7 tuổi…cho tới năm 2017 đã có một bài hát đầu tiên mà anh tự sáng tác.

Bài hát “Chuyện thằng bé" được hoàn thành chỉ với 1 đêm. Cho biết về quyết định “Chuyện thằng bé" là bài hát đầu tiên được ra mắt khán giả trong EP 5 bài, anh chàng tân binh gen Z chia sẻ rằng: “Bài hát này giống như một bản thu nhỏ về cuộc sống của mình trong suốt rất nhiều năm tháng tìm kiếm tình yêu, ước mơ thực sự của chính bản thân mình. Qua bài hát đó, cũng như qua EP lần này, mình hy vọng mọi người nghe sẽ được trải nghiệm thật trọn vẹn tuổi thơ của bản thân, tình yêu thật đẹp cũng như khao khát tìm về với tự nhiên của một người trẻ như mình…”
