Thuy Muoi, whose real name is Tran Thanh Thuy, is a Vietnamese girl praised by the BBC as the "Startup Queen". This 8X girl was honored by Forbes VietNam as "Forbes 30 Under 30" in 2015.
In 2003, Thuy and her family immigrated to the United States. She graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2009. After that, she returned to Vietnam and established the Parallel Frozen Yogurt chain of stores. In 2015, Thuy Muoi became the CEO of GreenGar Inc. Then, she brought this company to participate in the 500 Startups Accelerator program.
In early 2014, Thuy failed with GreenGar, she started to build Tappy company, which was owned by Weeby. co acquired in early 2015. In early 2016, she left Weeby. co and drove around the US before returning to Vietnam to work on new projects.
As a girl full of energy and determination in business and getting rich, Thuy Muoi also makes many people admire. In the will to live, optimism overcomes the evil disease. In September 2016, Thuy suffered from prolonged back pain that made her feel pain. She was taken by a friend to the emergency room at a hospital in Hanoi. After X-rays and tests, the doctor said that one-third of Thuy's lungs were filled with effusion. Later, Thuy also announced that she had founded a project. Salt Cancer Initiative (SCI) to support cancer patients in Vietnam. Currently, SCI has many main programs with SCI's volunteers who are actively working to bring to the hands of patients and families documents about cancer examination and treatment. In addition, she also suggested that schools, businesses, and travel agencies open programs specifically for cancer patients such as "opening yoga classes, teaching Piano.
