Anthony Joshua spent a short childhood in Nigeria then at the age of 7 he moved with his family to the UK at the Meriden Estate in Garston, Hertfordshire; there he attended Kings Langley High School and was considered a very good football player. He started boxing in 2007 when he was 18 years old and joined the Finchley ABC club in Barnet, North London.
