Startup journey from stock to EduBox

Nguyen Ha Minh Thong was born in Binh Dinh. When he was 7 years old, he followed his parents to Ho Chi Minh City to start a business. Since childhood, Minh Thong has shown a business mindset and passion for technology.

Since I was a student at City University of Industry. HCM, he actively works at many different businesses to accumulate practical experience.

After a period of working at businesses, Minh Thong learned to invest in stocks to earn money to start a business. He invested 1 billion VND to establish a tutoring startup called Uber. Minh Thong and his cousin Ha Minh Khoa (a programmer with 10 years of experience) developed Edubox - a technology application platform to connect students and teachers/tutors to save time and costs compared to the traditional way of connecting through a tutoring center. Edubox launched in July 2019, quickly attracting attention from the education community as well as technology startups.

EduBox was built with the goal:

Capital raising deal at Shark Tank Vietnam

In 2021, Minh Thong represented Edubox at the Silver Billion Trade Program calling for 4 billion for 25% of the company's shares.

EduBox's idea of digitizing the tutoring market receives attention from investors.

In which:

• Shark Thai Van Linh offered to invest 4 billion VND in exchange for 40% of the shares.
• Shark Nguyen Hoa Binh (Shark Binh) proposed an investment plan according to the Venture Builder model with an investment of 4 billion VND for 70% of shares.

After thinking, Minh Thong agreed with the investment proposal from Shark Linh.

Role at NFT game project ASPO World

In addition to the field of technology education, Nguyen Ha Minh Thong is also one of the key personnel of the blockchain project and NFT game ASPO World. He is responsible for coordinating and devising project operating strategies. NFT ASPO Word raised more than 3.5 million USD after more than 4 months of project implementation. Of which, 2 million USD came from investment funds Hashed, Icetea labs, GameFi, DaoMaker and Raptor Capital... and 1.5 million USD after just over 4 days of launching INO (Initial NFT Offering - meaning the first release of NFT).
