At the age of 12, he passed the entrance exam to the Conservatory of Music in the Netherlands.
He attended the Utrecht School of Art in Hilversum in the Netherlands, graduating in 2004 with a master's degree. Also in 2004, he continued to earn a Master's degree in composition from the University of Portsmouth in the UK). In 2006, Duong Khac Linh received a Master's degree in theory with a thesis on Music Technology in Vietnam.
