Who is Composer Franz Schubert?
Master composer of the classical Romantic period, who composed more than 600 works, during his short life. One of his more famous works is part one of three "Marche militaires."
His output was largely unrated while he was alive, but his liturgical music, operas, random, chamber and solo piano music, as well as his 10 symphonies, mainly "Unfinished Symphony", which are now considered some of history's greatest works.

He was already better qualified than his music teacher at the age of seven, and he entered one of Austria's top music schools at the age of 11.
He was one of five surviving children born to Franz Theodor Florian, a teacher, and Elizabeth Vietz.
