Musician Hoang Duong was awarded the Third Class Labor Medal by the State President and received the State Prize in Literature and Art.
He was promoted to Associate Professor in 1991. In 2007, musician Hoang Duong was honored to be awarded the highest honor in the cause of education: People's Teacher.
