Designer Pham Minh Hoang also known by the name Stone Man. After graduating with a degree in Public Relations, he switched to Graphic Design. In addition to the knowledge in school, he also learns and self-study with the help of friends and colleagues. After about 10 years of unsuccessfully pursuing music, Minh Hoang returned to his passion since childhood, which is drawing. Recently, Hoang has collaborated with JBL on an interesting project - "decor" for PartyBox On-the-go speakers, contributing to bringing life to technology products to become more "artificial" than ever.
Sharing about his decision to forge a career in graphic design, he knows that he himself finds it hard to believe. Hoang loved to draw since he was a child, until he was in high school, he thought he was interested in event planning, so he entered the PR department of Huflit school. After that, I worked for nearly 7 years with my first job as a media specialist, both writing and designing illustrations for the content I wrote. While engrossed in a job that is also related to event organization, Hoang discovered what he liked more, which was music, and wanted to form a band with his friends. After a long time, he finally gave up because he couldn't hold on any longer. It hurts but I have to admit that I don't like music that much.
Instead, he realized: If you're really passionate, then no matter who leaves it, you will find it. No matter how long you delay, no matter how miserable, you will live with that passion no matter what. After giving up music, Hoang returned to… drawing, drawing whatever he thought. Thanks to social networks, more people know him and he has been working as a "painting artist" since then. “The paintings of “Stone Man” are the story of “Stone Man”. Human obstacles may be the same, but the way we deal with circumstances makes a difference. "- he shared. When he received the "decor" project for the PartyBox On-the-go speaker, he had the opportunity to study JBL's sound quality and style. When playing music, the "candy tonsils" on the speaker surface will move according to the beat music, creating a realistic vividness in both sound and image for listeners.
