Doctor Hoang Van Tam is the initiator of the project "Erase birthmarks for children", opening up a bright future for many children with congenital birthmarks. The project not only erases dark patches on the skin but also breaks down the "cocoon" of inferiority complex, helping unlucky children become more confident. Doctor Tam once appeared in the program "Kind Deeds" broadcast on VTV1 channel.
The "Erase me" project has received 248 applications from all 20 provinces and cities and 8 doctors accompanying the project. Doctor Tam and his colleagues performed more than 352 treatment sessions, reducing the total distance of bringing and picking up children to Hanoi to 295,686 km. The project supported 153 tubes of special post-laser treatment drugs and 240 million VND in travel and accommodation expenses for families. By the end of November 2025, "Erase for Children" had treated 55 babies for free.
