Legendary Golden Age of Books Comic and co-creator of Captain America with a legend, Jack Kirby . He also handled Sandman, Legion, the Boy Commandos, and Manhunter in the 1940s. He and Kirby pioneered comic romance and horror.
He was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2009.
