Football club Derby County

Derby County was founded in 1884 by William Morley, is a part of the Derbyshire County cricket club - the club has 4 times topped the English football rankings. The peak of this club was in the 1970s, when they had twice won the Football League First Division and four times won tickets to European cup tournaments, including once they reached the semi-finals. European Cup finals and a number of other minor trophies. Black and white were the club's traditional colors in the 1890s. Their nickname was The Rams, The sheep, a reference to the ram's association with the first regiment of the Derby militia. The Derby Ram song is a traditional Derby County song. Derby County Club headquarters are at Pride Park Stadium in Pride Park, Derby. This is where they have moved since 1997. As of 2013, the club plays in the English First Division and is managed by Steve McClaren. In the 2007-2008 season, Derby County had the worst performance and received the worst record.
