Alex Ferguson full name is Alexander Chapman Ferguson, is a famous football player and coach with Scottish nationality. From 1986-2013, he was an important contributor in the journey to turn Manchester United into the greatest team in English football history, with 20 domestic championships. He was knighted by the Queen of England on June 12, 1999.
Alex Ferguson started playing professional football at the age of 16, at the Queen's Park team as a striker. In his first game at Queen's Park, he scored the team an honorable goal in a 2-1 loss to rivals Stranraer. During his spell at Queen's Park, Ferguson played 31 matches and scored 20 goals. In 1960, Ferguson moved to play for St Johnstone. Although playing quite well, but Ferguson constantly had to sit on the bench, that's why he parted with this team after a short time playing.
