A Hoang is one of the familiar faces of football, especially for fans of Hoang Anh Gia Lai club. Coming from the mountains of the Central Highlands, he is a clear testament to the image of a player who grew up through effort, discipline and perseverance, instead of media aura.
Born on July 31, 1995 in Dak Glei district, Kon Tum province, A Hoang is from the Gie Trieng ethnic group - one of the ethnic minorities living mainly in the Central Highlands region. From a young age, he soon showed his passion for football and was recruited into Hoang Anh Gia Lai's youth training system in 2007. This was an important turning point, opening the way to professional football for the young highland man.
After many years of training at the academy, in 2016, he was officially promoted to Hoang Anh Gia Lai's first team to play in V. League 1. In the Mountain City football team, the player was born. In 1995, he mainly took on the role of defender or center back, standing out with his solid playing style, tactical compliance and good covering ability. Although he is not the type of player who often appears in the newspapers, he is always highly appreciated for his stability and serious playing spirit.
During his professional career, A Hoang has made nearly 100 appearances in the V. League, silently contributing to Hoang Anh Gia Lai's overall achievements over many seasons. In 2021, he was loaned to the SHB Da Nang club for a short time to gain more playing experience, before returning to the parent team.
Not only at the club level, the defender Kon Tum was called up to the Vietnam U23 team in the period 2016-2017 and had a number of times. Played for the Vietnamese national team around 2017–2018. Being called up to the team is recognition for his performance and tireless efforts in a top football environment.
