Not possessing an overly flashy playing style, but his efficiency and stability are the key factors that help the Nghe An team maintain competitiveness. During this period, he and SLNA won many important titles such as the 2011 V-League championship, the 2010 National Cup and the 2011 National Super Cup. In particular, in 2015, he was elected team captain - a clear demonstration of his influence both on and off the field.

Quang Tinh's strength lies in his ability to read the game and keep the pace of play. He often has neat, accurate handling and especially powerful long-range shots from the second line - something that has become the midfielder's "trademark". In 2019, he returned to SLNA before officially retiring in 2020, ending his professional journey at the very place where he made his name.

After leaving the field, Nguyen Quang Tinh did not completely separate from football. He quickly became a prominent face in the football movement in Nghe An and was known by fans as "the king of Nghe An". Matches with his presence always attract great attention thanks to his maintained technique and class. Not stopping there, he also participates in youth coaching, directly imparting experience and inspiration to the next generation of players.
