From a very young age, Pham Van Luan showed outstanding talent in football. He joined the Khanh Hoa youth training facility for the period 2014–2016, where he was trained in technical foundation and modern tactical thinking.

The first step at Dak Lak Club (2019)

Return to Vietnam and wear the uniform of Hanoi Police (2023–present)
After finishing his time playing in Japan, he returned to Vietnam and joined Hanoi Police Club (CAHN) - one of the teams with the most potential in V. League 1.
In his first season (2023), he and the capital team won the V. League championship, contributing to the club's historic achievements.
With his smart playing style, flexible movement and strong competitive spirit, he gradually affirmed his position in CAHN's squad, becoming a reliable factor in the midfield.
Competing for City Police. HCM (2025)
In 2025, this player was loaned by CAHN to the City Police Club. HCM to accumulate more competition experience.

International career
