He started playing Minecraft in 2010. He was so good at it, that at one point he realized that the Dutch servers were slow, so he spent a month doing patch upgrades for hMod. At the end of 2010, he was approached by a certain professional company, and he joined their ranks. He was so famous by that time that he attended MineCon in 2011. After MineCon Majong himself approached him about working for them. At first, he was hired to modify APIs and maintain Minecraft servers but was later promoted to general game development.
