Who is Game Civilization?
Civilization, full name Sid Meier's Civilization, is a strategy game created by Sid Meier and Bruce Shelly for MicroProse in 1991. The purpose of this game is to "build an empire to challenge. time": started in 4000 BC and the players worked to expand and grow their empire over time from antiquity to modern times.
Civilization first designed to run on DOS for PC. Through improvements and interface changes, this game can now be played on different platforms, including Windows, Macintosh, Amiga, Atari ST, PlayStation, N-Gage and Super Nintendo. In Vietnam, it took more than 5 years after it was officially launched since 1991, Civilization was first released in the years 1996 - 2000.
How to play:
The player assumes the role of a ruler of a civilization, starting with just one settler unit and repeatedly working to build an empire that rivals the word. 2 to 6 or to 12 other civilizations or more depending on the version, the player's choice. The game does apply some of the principles of microeconomic management (although according to comments, the application is less than other games). In addition to having to expand the land to govern and protect the welfare of its citizens or citizens, players also have to make decisions about where to build a new city, which units to use or improve. for each of their cities, research what scientific achievements and how to exploit the lands surrounding each city in the most suitable way. The player is often harassed by barbarians, rebel units, or bandits that can reduce or destroy the player's army.
Before starting the game, the player must choose a team to play. It could be a country in the world, like the ancient Aztecs (Aztecs), Americans (Americans), Mongols (Mongols), or Italians (Roman Empire). Each civilization is usually led by a leader who is a famous historical figure, such as Cleopatra of Egypt in the Civilization 2 series, or Julius Caesar for the Romans.

Civilization series has won numerous awards, usually for best strategy game and best turn-based game.
Civilization IV won IGN's awards (PC Game of the Year in 2005, ranking higher than F. E.A. R. and Guild Wars, Best Strategy Game and Best Online Game of 2005). Civilization IV also won the Strategy Game of the Year award and the award for the game soundtrack category in 2010 for the song Baba Yetu at the 2010 Grammy Awards. This is also the first Grammy award to be awarded to a game theme.
