He joined Something Corporate as a temporary replacement for fellow guitarist Reuben Hernandez, but was soon promoted to full member of the group. He recorded his first album with Something Corporate, Leaving Through the Window, in 2002.
He married reality TV personality Lauren Conrad in 2014.
