Journalist and writer Nguyen Van Vinh is considered "the father of journalism. He uses a number of other pseudonyms to write newspapers such as: Tan Nam Tu, Tong Gia, Quan Thanh, Lang Gia, Mui Tet Tu, Dao Thi, etc. Loan,... In 1913, journalist Nguyen Van Vinh returned to work as Editor-in-Chief at the weekly newspaper Indochina magazine, in Hanoi. After that, he was elected to the Tonkin Advisory Council (later changed to the House of Representatives). In 1914, he took on the position of Editor-in-Chief of Trung Bac Tan Van newspaper founded by Schneider.
In 1927, he together with E. Vayrac established the bookcase of Western and Western thought (La pensée de l'Occident), then organized the printing and distribution of the titles he translated. In 1929, he was elected to the Indochina Economic and Financial Council.
In 1931, journalist Nguyen Van Vinh founded the newspaper "L'Annam Nouveau" (New South Country) printed in French, in order to defend the doctrine of Trucism that he proposed. In 1936, the newspaper "L'Annam Nouveau" won the GRAND PRIX prize at the Colonial Press Fair held in Paris.
Journalist Nguyen Van Vinh died on 02/03. May 1936, because of malaria and dysentery. His body was brought to Hanoi by Freemasonry for the funeral from May 6-8, 1936.
