Nguyen Nhuoc Phap's mother died when he was only 2 years old, he was adopted by his father's eldest wife, Dinh Thi Tinh.
He attended high school at Tri Tri, and when he was 14 years old, he passed the 6th grade exam at Albert Sarraut High School.
From 1930, the economist became difficult, Nguyen Nhuoc Phap had to write newspapers, write poems to earn more money to pay for school fees. At the age of 20, he passed the first part of the baccalaureate. In 1935, he passed the second baccalaureate exam and entered the Law University.

Poet Nguyen Nhuoc Phap is the son of Mrs. Phan Thi Luu, the second wife of a writer and journalist, Nguyen Van Vinh . When he was 2 years old, his mother died, he was brought in by his father's eldest wife, Dinh Thi Tinh, and lived in the same house with half-siblings.
