Writer Le Luu is from Tan Chau commune, Khoai Chau district, Hung Yen. He is a Vietnamese writer, a member of the Vietnam Writers Association since 1974, specializing in writing novels and short stories.
Currently, he is holding the position of Director of the Center for Entrepreneurial Culture in Hanoi.
He established the Le Luu Literary Fund on February 25, 2014, which is considered the first literary fund to bring name of a living writer, in order to encourage the creation of the younger generation of writers.
From a farmer, writer Le Luu's whole life devoted his entire literary career to the topic of agriculture - rural - peasantry. .
The novel “The time is far away” has sketched the life of writer Le Luu. Thanks to this novel, the writer's name is known by many writers and the public for generations.
