  • In 1960, he returned to Hanoi and worked as a reporter for Tien Phong newspaper.
  • From 1961 - 1964, after graduating from the journalism faculty, he moved to the Northeast, worked as a newspaper in the Mo region, later renamed the newspaper Quang Ninh.
  • In 1987, he changed jobs and held the positions of Vice President of Quang Ninh Arts Association, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Ha Long Newspaper and Head of Vietnam Writers Association in Quang Ninh.
