Ngoc Lan Vy, a 13-year-old girl, 1m72 tall, excellently won the title of Miss Universe 2018. Ngoc Lan Vy is the first representative of Vietnam to participate in this big beauty contest for children. Ngoc Lan Vy became the first Asian in general and the first Vietnamese in particular to wear this prestigious crown.
Despite her age, Ngoc Lan Vy gives herself a mature and confident demeanor. She always attracts the opposite person with the confident attitude of a young Miss. Right from the first rounds, Ngoc Lan Vy always performed excellently. She overcame 30 other contestants in the final round to win the crown. Not only won the crown of Miss, Ngoc Lan Vy also won 2 sub-prizes as the contestant in the best evening gown and the most favorite contestant on social networks. The title of 1st and 2nd runner-up belongs to the representatives of Russia and Thailand.
Miss Universe Child is a beauty contest for children around the world with 13 organization. In 2018, there were 60 countries registered to participate in this contest and 30 contestants were selected by the organizers to directly participate in the final round in Antalya (Turkey).
Ngoc Lan Vy soon became famous for her many achievements in modeling competitions. She is a familiar name in the child model village, participating in many high-class programs and events. In 2017, Ngoc Lan Vy was crowned in the Miss Eurasia and Young Male King contest - Little Miss & Mr Eurasia. Experiencing many rigorous competitions in cold weather, Ngoc Lan Vy tried her best to complete the mission in the best way. The contest jury appreciated Ngoc Lan Vy's Vietnamese beauty. She also performed very well in the talent contest with the song Hello Vietnam (bilingual). Because of her fluency in English, Ngoc Lan Vy confidently communicates with international friends.
After winning the crown, Ngoc Lan Vy continues to study at international schools as well as practice more skills and talents. art. She was also guided by actress and international judge Trinh Tu to be more active in the fields of art.
