Phuc Nguyen's real name is Nguyen Thanh Phuc Nguyen, a young face that is receiving attention from the audience after his journey on the show. Almighty Rookie 2025. Possessing a bright appearance, vocal, rap, dance skills and a well-trained piano background, the boy born in 2005 is considered one of the show's outstanding contestants. After more than 9 months of training and competition, he officially became a member of boy band UPRIZE.
Who is Phuc Nguyen?
Nguyen Thanh Phuc Nguyen was born on December 12, 2005, from Da Lat, Lam Dong. When working as an artist, he uses the stage name PN. The male artist currently takes on many roles including vocalist, rapper, dancer and performer in the UPRIZE lineup.
Before being known to television audiences, he had time to interact with and practice music since childhood. Phuc Nguyen's family let Phuc Nguyen learn piano, from then on his passion for art gradually became a serious direction. After studying, he entered the City Conservatory of Music. Ho Chi Minh City and achieved the achievement of valedictorian in the Music Education major, majoring in Piano in 2024.
This is one of the notable differences of the young male artist. Besides his performing ability, he has a relatively solid musical background and can play the piano, guitar as well as electric guitar. Phuc Nguyen also has the ability to compose and has participated in the process of making a number of music products.
Musical journey before fame
PN's artistic path did not start with a television program but was formed through the process of studying and performing quite early. When he was in high school, he and some friends founded a YouTube channel called Dalat Dreamers to make cover videos. These products help him gain more experience in front of the camera, get used to performing and gradually shape his personal style.
One of the notable performances is the cover of the song Who knows by Soobin. The ability to handle vocals, run notes and rap parts helped Phuc Nguyen create his own mark even though at that time he was not a widely known artist. This process became the foundation for him to enter a larger environment when he signed up to join Almighty Rookie.
The turning point is called Almighty Rookie
In 2025, Phuc Nguyen participated in Rookie Almighty, a program to find and train boy bands following the idol model. This is the milestone that significantly changed his level of recognition. Even during the selection process, the male artist demonstrated quite comprehensive abilities. He has a good voice, the ability to hit high notes, knows how to rap, dance and has a natural stage presence. His youthful appearance and close image also help him quickly create sympathy with the audience.
Phuc Nguyen once reached the Top 30 of Project 100%, then continued to advance into the Newbie Promotion squad. As time went on, he showed more stability in the competition rounds and was considered one of the faces with development potential. In particular, after 5 rounds of Public Performance, he achieved2. 957 individual cumulative points, becoming the contestant with the highest total score at that time. This achievement shows that the male artist not only had an outstanding performance but also maintained a relatively stable performance throughout the competition.
Phuc Nguyen's rap and vocal abilities
If you just call Phuc Nguyen a rapper, it doesn't fully show his artistic color. Rap is one of the outstanding skills, but vocal is the factor that is often mentioned when talking about the professional abilities of male artists.
In Almighty Rookie, he once attracted attention with his English rap in the performance Yeu 5. The flow treatment combined with the singing helps the performance have a balance between technique and emotion. Besides rapping, PN's singing ability also received many positive reviews. He can handle high parts and has the ability to run notes, while also showing flexibility when switching between singing, rapping and dancing parts.
The strength of male artists therefore lies in the ability to combine many skills on stage. Instead of building the image of a pure rapper, he is more suitable for the versatile performer orientation, able to take on many positions in a music group.
From All-Rookie to UPRIZE
After a journey lasting more than 9 months, Phuc Nguyen officially became one of 7 members of UPRIZE. The team lineup includes Cuong Bach, Phuc Nguyen, Lam Anh, Duc Duy, Wonbi, Duy Lan and Long Hoang. With the stage name PN, he continues to develop the image of a versatile artist, combining vocals, rap and performance.
