Dieter Bohlen, full name Dieter Günther Bohlen, is a German singer, songwriter, music producer and television personality. He is best known to the public as a member of the famous band Modern Talking.
In 1978 Dieter Bohlen and some friends formed the band Monza. In 1981 he was a member of the group Sunday, the owner of the hit "Hale Hey Louise. From 1984 to 1987 and from 1998 to 2003, Bohlen was a member of the band Modern Talking as a producer, From 1985-1989 he wrote and produced some songs for singer CC Catch.
In 1987, after the band Modern Talking broke up for the first time, Bohlen formed the band Blue System. He also regularly works in the recording studio with producer Luis Rodríguez. The song on the album "Rivalen Der Rennbahn" was composed by male singer Dieter Bohlen. This was the best-selling album of 1989 in Germany. In 1986 he composed and produced the song "Midnight Lady" by the rock singer Chris Norman, which became a huge hit in central Europe during the 1990s Dieter is a producer of a pop singer Bonnie Tyler in collaboration with Hansa Records. They have released 3 albums "Bitterblue", "Angel Heart" and "Silhouette in Red". In which the song "Bitterblue" is the most successful, this song was composed by Dieter.
In 2006 Dieter released the album "Dieter: Der Film" which is the soundtrack for a movie. In 2011, he and Felix Werner founded the clothing brand "Needs Clothing". He is also known for his role as a judge on the talent show Das Supertalen, a German version of "Britain's Got Talent".

Dieter Bohlen is the son of Edith and Hans Bohlen. His maternal grandmother was originally from Königsberg. He has a younger brother named Uwe. In 1983 he married Erika Sauerland, with whom they have three children, Marc, Marvin and Marielin. In 1994 his marriage broke up. In 1996 he married model Verona Feldbusch but they broke up after 30 days of marriage. He met his girlfriend Carina Walz in Majorca, Spain. They have a daughter Amelie born in 2011 and a son Maximilian born in 2013.
