Who is Photographers Le Quyet Thang?
Le Quyet Thang, team leader of Team Lee, initiated the idea of restoring martyrs' photos to commemorate and pay tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Fatherland, which is of great interest to the online community. Although he and his team members were from different places, they all had the same idea: to restore martyrs' photos to commemorate and pay tribute to the martyrs. With his talent and ingenuity, Le Quyet Thang and his team have restored many photos that have great meaning to their families and relatives.
Le Quyet Thang was born in 1991 hometown Nghe An currently living and working in Hanoi. Mr. Thang's main job is interior design, but whenever he has free time, he restores photos of relatives of the deceased through reunion photos and old photos. At first, he only did it out of passion to help his relatives' wishes be fulfilled. But after the photo was posted on social networks, it quickly became known and every day he received hundreds of messages from the martyrs' families, hoping to recover the only photo left by the martyrs. Because the number of people was too large, he shared his idea with people who were passionate about photography and received agreement.
On June 20, 2022, the group "Team Lee" was formed with 6 people and later increased to 12 people. Mr. Thang is the team leader and assigns each person a separate job. After work until about 8pm, the group sits down and assigns work together. There were days when he and his team worked until 3am. With passion as well as understanding the wishes of the martyrs' relatives, the whole team tries their best to help the family fulfill their wishes. Because the photo is so old, each quick photo takes the whole team 6 hours, long time it takes 2 to 3 days.
To date, Mr. Thang and his group have taken thousands of photos and the group will continue to carry out this project. If there are still requests, the whole team will still try to complete them to help the family be satisfied. For Mr. Thang, the greatest value he receives through this job is the happiness of being able to help so many families partly erase the feeling of loss and regret when there are no moments of reunion. . After completing each photo given to his family and relatives, he and the whole team always received sincere thanks, and touching tears, which was the motivation for the team to work tirelessly all night. .
