Ho Van Cuong was born on January 15, 2003 in Hoang Mai town, Nghe An province , is a promising right-back of football Vietnam . He is currently playing for the Lam Nghe An River Club (SLNA) and a member of the U23 Vietnam team.

Club career

Ho Van Cuong started his football career at PVF Football Academy, where he was known for his technical and speed play. However, in 2019, due to bodybuilding limitations, he left PVF and joined the youth football training center of Song Lam Nghe An. Here, under the guidance of the coaches, Van Cuong quickly grew up and was promoted to the first team of the club.

In the 2023 season, Ho Van Cuong showed an impressive performance, becoming the top choice for SLNA's right -back position. His energy and aggression helped the team's right wing to become the main attack. However, at the end of the season, Van Cuong suffered a ligament injury, affecting the ability to play and affecting SLNA's play.

International career

Ho Van Cuong was summoned to the U23 Vietnam team to attend the Southeast Asia U23 tournament 2022. However, he only played a match before having to leave the tournament due to a positive test with Covid-19. Despite difficulties, U23 Vietnam still won this tournament championship.

In 2023, Van Cuong continued to be summoned to the U20 Vietnam team to attend the U20 Asian tournament 2023, participating in all three groups in the group stage before the team stopped. In the same year, he and U22 Vietnam attended the 32nd SEA Games. During the bronze medal match against U22 Myanmar, Van Cuong scored a double, making an important contribution to helping U22 Vietnam win 3-1 and win a bronze medal.
