Bosnia-Serbian poet, writer, musician, and translator who wrote nearly 800 poems (collected in six volumes) and seven plays. Also an editor, he headed a literary review called Zora during the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
After his death in 1924, a village in Serbia was renamed Aleksa Santic in his honor.
