The poet Nguyen Ho's real name is Ho Cong Han, a native of Hoa Thang, Phu Hoa, Phu Yen. Other pseudonyms: Yen Hoa, Uyen Hong.
He was a member of the Vietnam Writers' Association in 1963; is an "advanced writer" about folk songs and many famous poems and stories during the two resistance wars, printed in many anthologies of poetry and literature and selected to be included in popular textbooks.

- After the country was unified, he moved back to work as Vice President. President and General Secretary of the Arts Association of Phu Khanh province (now Phu Yen province and Khanh Hoa), he has contributed actively develop the arts and culture movement in the province.
