In 1997 – 2001: Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, term 17,18; Vice Chairman and Standing Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee cum Head of the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Quang Nam Province: Chairman of the Union of Cooperatives of Quang Nam Province; Delegate to the Provincial People's Council, term 6.
