Shila Amzah full name is NurShahila Binti Amir Amzah, is a Malaysian female singer, songwriter, record producer and actress.
In 2005 Shila Amzah began to be known to the audience after releasing it. released her second studio album, Sha-Hila, with the help of a famous recording artist, Helen Yap. In 2011 Shila's name became more famous when her single "Patah Seribu" won two awards "Pop Song of the Year" and "Song of the Year" at the 9th Malaysian Music Awards. After that, Shila also achieved much success in the Shanghai music market, China and even won at the Asian Wave. It is these successes that have earned her the Kembara Award, an international musical breakthrough award presented at the Malaysian Music Awards. What is more remarkable is that Kembara is the youngest female artist to be awarded this award.
In 2015 Shila continued to develop her singing career by entering the Hong Kong music market. The success in the international music market has brought many titles for Shila such as Asia's Sweetheart, Princess of Music and National Treasure of Malaysia.
Shila also achieved many high achievements in her singing career such as winner of the 2008 Asian New Vocal Competition. In 2013, she was the first Malaysian artist to receive an award nomination at the World Music Awards. She is also the first and only malaysia artist to be invited to the Global Chinese Music Awards. She has won many awards at the World Music Awards such as: World Best Female Artist, Best Artist of the Year, Best Song and Best Video of the Year...
