In 2024, King Fan was fined 40 million VND for administrative violations by the General Department of Market Management Bac Ninh province, confiscating thousands of smuggled electric fan components.

Previously, Market Management Team No. 2 coordinated with specialized units and Yen Phong District Police to conduct a surprise inspection of Mr. Tiep's electric fan business.

According to the results of inspection and verification, the authorities determined that Mr. Tran Dinh Tiep committed three violations including:

• Do not register to establish a business household in cases where registration is required according to regulations.
• Trading in smuggled goods.
• Failure to declare conformity with regulations for products and goods subject to declaration of conformity.
