Gill, whose real name is Vu Truong Giang, is a rapper who is no stranger to the Vietnamese rap community. He used to participate in the program Rap Viet and attracted the audience by his handsome appearance, rap good. Gill's mix "Because I'm alive" at Round 1 Rap Viet made the audience extremely excited. He is a contestant of coach Karik's team. He is known to the audience through hits such as Picasso, Locoboiz dissin, Room 808, and the world has lost a lonely person, Light, Lay back, The illest boy, 3g or wifi, 119 remix, Autumn rain, v. v.

Since 3rd grade, Gill has been exposed to rap and hip hop through the mp3 player his brother gave him. In it, his brother downloaded songs from the early days of Vietnamese rap. After that, Gill felt interested and began to search, learn and listen to more music products of domestic and foreign rap artists. In the 12th grade, he started writing his first songs. In 2016, he joined the Oceanboys (now Ocean Mob). In 2020, he decided to join the Rap Viet program to hope to have the opportunity to learn and improve himself.
In early 2022, Gill released a music product. new name "U is heaven". This song is a combination of drill and trap styles, with extremely impressive visuals, imbued with Vietnamese culture such as turban dress, tuong stage, shrimp nest board... This is the idea. The idea that few young rappers can think of. The inspiration for Gill to make this music product comes from his love of Vietnamese culture. He always explores, learns and tries to bring the cultural elements of his country into his music products. Until this musical product, he had enough conditions and knowledge to fulfill that desire. When coming up with the idea for the MV, Gill and his team had to research on the hobby of shrimp nest and tuong art to honor the beauties of our country. Perhaps, the biggest difficulty and challenge for Gill is time. MV "U is heaven" has 6 scenes, but he had to wrap it up in 1 day of filming. The whole team had to manage in the studio because they couldn't go out in the midst of the complicated epidemic situation in Hanoi.
