Singer Do Minh Tan profile

Who is Singer Do Minh Tan?

Do Minh Tan, often called Tin, born in 2004, is a young face that attracted the audience's attention when participating in the reality TV show Almighty Rookie. Possessing a bright appearance, confident performance style and a dance foundation trained through artistic activities, Minh Tan is gradually pursuing the goal of becoming a professional idol in Vietnam.

Before becoming known to many audiences through The Almighty Rookie, he worked in the dance group POONG Crew, thereby having the opportunity to hone his ability to appreciate music, control his body and coordinate in group performances. These are important skills for a young artist who wants to develop according to the idol model, where performance ability and progression through each stage are emphasized. Notably, Minh Tan once tried casting at Korean entertainment companies such as SM Entertainment and YG Entertainment. Finding opportunities in the idol training environment shows that he is interested in K-pop's professional artist development model. To pursue this path, he not only needs dancing ability but also has to continuously improve his vocal performance, stage expression, musical thinking and the ability to adapt to competitive pressure. Previous experiences can become tools to help Minh Tan better understand the requirements of the profession and prepare for the next challenges.

In addition to working with POONG Crew, Do Minh Tan was also introduced as having participated in supporting the performances of V-Pop artists such as Ho Ngoc Ha and Truc Nhan. Opportunities to work in real performance environments help young artists gain more experience in the process of preparing performances, coordinating with the crew and maintaining performance on stage. This is also the foundation for Minh Tan to promote his dance strengths when entering a program that requires contestants to demonstrate their abilities in front of a professional team and the audience.

Almighty Rookie became a notable milestone in Minh Tan's journey when it provided the opportunity to express oneself in a professional training and evaluation environment. At the test mentioned by the press in May 2025, he attracted attention with his performance of the title song Show Me. Training director Hyuk Shin gave positive comments on the male contestant's performance. Although being considered for promotion to class A but ultimately still in class B, Minh Tan still has the opportunity to see more clearly his own strengths and limitations to continue perfecting his skills.
